Portals
Having been on an inner quest for many years, the most recent experiences of this personal journey are reflected in this body of work. Doors open and doors close throughout our lives, there's no getting around it. Whether we choose to lock some doors behind us, step boldly through newly opened ones or hang out in the doorway is up to each of us. No matter what, these portals continue to appear or recede into the background so what we decide to do with that will shape us. In this series, the fear, courage, insights, joy, contradictions and uncertainty that are part and parcel of such intimate investigation are explored in a playful manner in order to provide balance to the seriousness of the explorations.
